The VOB, a white tie charity gala, draws an international audience that includes Diplomats, Dignitaries and Debutantes. This is a high-caliber venue, but by reputation, the best party around! The VOB features Peter Duchin and his Orchestra, opera singers from New York’s Metropolitan Opera Company performing an adaptation of Mozart’s “The Abduction from the Seraglio”, West Point Cadets, Midnight Quadrille (Germanic square dance), horse and carriage, and so much more.

The VOB is actually two venues: the formal 9:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. Ball with 4-course seated dinner; and the 1:00 to 4:00 a.m. Tanz Bar that follows, featuring Jazz Band/Dance bands in one room (with buffet supper), DJ in another room (with buffet supper), and Vienna Coffee House in a yet another room (with custom pastries created by the Waldorf’s pastry chef).
