Victorian Ball in Invalides, Paris- 13 April 2013

On 13 April 2013, the French society Le Quadrille Français is entertaining with a 1880 Victorian Ball.

The ball will take place in the private rooms of the Hôtel des Invalides in Paris. It will start at 7pm with a private visit of Emperor Napoleon’s tomb. The Ballroom doors will open at 8pm and the ball will go from 8.30pmto 1am. Ladies are expected to wear their nicest 1880 bustled dresses, and gentlemen shall wear period military or diplomatic uniforms, or white tie.

This Victorian ball will be made of several parts, all filled with waltzes, mazurkas, polkas, quadrilles and gallops.
