The 56th Kaffeesiederball (Ball of the Coffeehouse Owners) which combines magnificence and fun will take place on 8 February 2013 at the Hofburg & Redoutensaele & Dachfoyer

What makes the Kaffeesierderball every year one of the best Viennese balls of the carnival season, is the mix of ball tradition, a breathtaking setting in the Hofburg, around 6,000 guests and the Coffeehouse Owners own twist. Under this year’s motto” Wiener Blut ” the guests can expect a vibrant evening.

The opening ceremony of that exceptional Viennese ball offers will include Kristiane Emperor whi will grace the guests with excerpts from the operetta “Wiener Blut” by Johann Strauss Jr. and “love you heaven on earth” from “Paganini” and “Vienna, City of My Dreams” by Rudolf Sieczynski. The debutantes and their escorts will dance to “The Blue Danube”. Dancers from the State Ballet  will dance to “Roses from the South”.

Guests will be dancing to Viennese waltzes, polkas, Foxtrot, quickstep, cha cha until the early hours of the morning.
